Google is currently (10-2-09) testing its new index called Google Caffeine.
Now while search engine isn’t changing the way it looks, but there’s lots of “computing” changes being rolled out on the inside that will change the way your sites rankings are displayed.
Before the update goes live, it is open in a test mode that will replace the Google we all know and love (LOL) later today – supposedly.
So lots of folks are playing with Caffeine now in their browsers – and sending Google their thoughts.
From what different SEOs observe, Google Caffeine is ranking some sites differently and a lot of pages have gone up or down in this new index.
So today presents a unique opportunity to use Google’s preview seriously.
